Linus Radford is my avatar in the virtual world called Second Life. In an effort not to lose my live chops while recording my first solo album, and to ease the transition from hiding in bands to standing alone as a solo artist, I created Linus at the dawn of 2007 so I could play live acoustic “radio” shows from the safety and comfort of my basement recording studio. Up until the release of my album, I did not give away my real name in that world, nor did I give away my virtual name in this world. Now the masks have come off in both places.
